Introducing Smart Batteries for ABEM Terrameter LS 2 – available for delivery from end of March
We’re upgrading the Terrameter LS 2, as well as Terrameter VES and VES MAX, with new slide-in, slide-out Li-ion smart batteries – designed for longer run-time, easier handling, and greater flexibility in the field.
The batteries are hot-swappable, allowing you to change batteries without powering down the instrument, and they’re lighter than the previous solution for easier transport. With an on-battery fuel gauge for checking charge state and flight-safe design, managing power in the field – and on the move – becomes simpler and more reliable.
The batteries are compatible across multiple Guideline Geo instruments, including Terraloc Pro 2 and WalkTEM 2. Upgrade packages for existing systems are available and require the instrument to be returned to an official Guideline Geo service centre.
Deliveries will begin at the end of March.
